Its purpose is to sell books to any natural or legal person on its website www.libeurop.eu or in its bookshop. The European Bookshop Ltd. [La Librairie Européenne S.A.] can be reached by telephone or email from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

2. Purpose
These terms and conditions of sales apply to all products offered for sale on its website www.libeurop.eu (hereinafter referred to as "the website").
The act of placing an order on the website by a natural or legal person constitutes full acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sales.
3. Prices
Our prices are indicated in euros, including VAT, excluding shipping costs.
The seller reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. However, the prices applicable to the order are those in effect at the time of confirmation.
4. Order and Delivery Time
The buyer wishing to purchase a product must:
- provide their contact details and full delivery address for the shipment of their order;
- complete their shopping cart and confirm their order after reviewing it;
- make payment using the chosen payment method.

If one or more items in the order are unavailable, The European Bookshop Ltd. [La Librairie Européenne S.A.] will not ship until the entire order is available. Multiple shipments are still possible upon request, but the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping costs.
The delivery time for the package is calculated from the sum of the order preparation, procurement, and delivery times.
5. Delivery
The European Bookshop Ltd. [La Librairie Européenne S.A.] declines all responsibility for late delivery, strikes, or lost packages. The shipping risks are borne by the customer. In the event of transport problems, the customer must file a complaint with Librairie Européenne, which will intervene with the carrier to ensure that its customers' rights are respected.
The customer can check the status of their order at any time by logging into their customer account.
6. Bookshop collection
The customer also has the option to reserve an item for collection at the bookshop. The order is reserved for the customer for 30 days.
Payment must be made in advance.
Reserved items remain the property of The European Bookshop Ltd. [La Librairie Européenne S.A.] until the price has been fully and definitively paid by the customer.
7. Payment
The following payment methods are offered:
- Bank transfer to account BE28 0689 5022 1020;
- Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or Maestro);
For credit card payments, the total amount of the order is debited when placing the order.
8. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with the law, the consumer has the right to notify the seller that they are canceling their purchase, without penalty and without giving a reason, within 30 business days from the day after the product's delivery.
In this case, ordered items may be returned in perfect condition to The European Bookshop Ltd. [La Librairie Européenne S.A.] : Rue de l'Orme 1, 1040 Etterbeek, Belgium.
Shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
Items returned by the customer that are damaged will not be accepted.

10. Product Quality - Product Conformity
Legal guarantee of conformity for standard products (books, CDs, DVDs, etc.). The products we sell are new and guaranteed against any defects upon departure from our bookshop. This guarantee only covers defects of conformity existing at the time of delivery of the goods. In the event of a defective product, it is the customer's responsibility to notify us and return it within two months of discovering the damage.
11. Confidentiality
The seller undertakes to process the personal data of which it becomes aware in the course of its commercial activities via the internet in accordance with the law of December 8, 1992, relating to the protection of privacy with regard to the processing of personal data.
